Fountain Square Levy Event Friday

PARENTS CONVERGE ON FOUNTAIN SQUARE TO SUPPORT ISSUE 10

What: Parents organize a district-wide Honk and Wave at Fountain Square on Friday, February 29th starting at 11:30 am in Support of School Levy Issue 10. Parents, families, kids and community supporters will show their support of our kids' education by supporting Issue 10. Buses will be available at Withrow and Taft High Schools to bring supporters to the square. Buses will also be available to take supporters to the Board of election to do early voting. Many parents also plan to march through downtown to the Board. As Winton Montessori parent Kristen Barker says, "It is critical the school levy passes for our kids, for our community, for our future. We Cincinnatians must do what we can to take care of all our kids and ensure they get a quality education."

When: Friday , February 29 , 2008 at 11:30 -12:30

Note this event replaces the Skating Event that was cancelled because the skating rink has been closed a week earlier than originally planned. Also note, Friday is a teacher in-service day and CPS children have no classes.
