Wedding Vows on Foutain Square

Hard to tell from the photo, but take my word that this couple is saying wedding vows with a minister:

It took me a moment, but the minister's reflection in the wall is quite clear.

Wonderful image!

That is sweet.

I don't believe it; I think he's teaching her how to take a leak like a boy. Sorry!

You never know the whole story, They could be eloping, they could be pregnant, one of them could be very sick. I look at all these people in the public arena, and I am totally fascinated by each one and their story. Maybe they are very shy, or have no family. I watched them for a few minutes, and they seemed happy, calm but maybe a little uncertain, and not joyous.

There is some statement being made here I think. They are alone without family and friends, but in a clearly public space. But then again, they are kinda off to the side and not front and center. Regularly, bridal parties come here for photos, but not usually for the ceremony, although it happens more than you might think.

And it only took a few moments, and hardly anyone noticed them..

Don't you need witnesses for this sort of thing?
