Busy City Street 107 Years Ago

Thomas Edison Film: What Happened on 23rd Street, NYC, August 21, 1901. I thought the way pedestrians owned the street was interesting. There are horses with carts and streetcars, mixing with jay-walking pedestrians.

Great post. I look at enough photos of Cincinnati when "pedestrians owned the street", but its great to see something similar (from NY) in action.

Speaking of pedestrians, I wish someone had footage of downtown Cincy in the 60s/70s - it looked like a madhouse.

Very cool post! Video footage of that time period is pretty rare. Definitely neat to see. Thanks!
