I want to stop posting on national politics, I really do. Especially the negative stuff, but the draw is too strong for me. I'm growing to understand that this medium is not meant for long-winded well-crafted messages. The whole point of blogging is to put the instant thought out there. I may regret some of it. But so what? If I thought about this stuff too long before posting, nothing would get posted. You, the reader, can always skip the stuff that doesn't interest you.
But, I definitely could do better at writing about the livability of downtown Cincinnati. I want to focus more on local, really local events and people. I would like to have more photos of people, and less of buildings. But sometimes it is easier to throw in some political junk....

If these two are the best this country can come up with for presidential candidates, then we're nearly out of hope. They both suck.
Worse than GWB? I think we got the best each side had to offer, and I am glad of it.
GWB is 2nd only to Carter in terms of being the worst president this country has ever had. McCain is definitely not the best the Republican side had to offer; he's barely a conservative -- which I guess would explain why you don't feel too badly about him ;-)
