In his Father's Day speech Sunday Obama talked a lot about responsibility and sacrifice. I like that. We shouldn't be living beyond our means. It is a sickness to expect something for nothing or to expect that some one else will pay our bills.

Nice post, I agree. That is something I'm working on with my own life. It would be interesting to see how Europeans compare to us with their level of debt over the years. My guess is that they are quite a bit more responsible than most Americans.
