WH Taft Museum

We recently visited the Taft Home on Auburn Avenue, the only National Park site in the City limits as far as I know. It was educational, and the kids got a kick out of it. It is great to have these kinds of cultural attractions right next door.

Bruce took our class through years ago and I recently went again. I had forgotten that at one time the roof had been raised and an eleborate porch installed. They chose to restore it to the 1860's design.

It is a great restoration.

What do you think of the animatronic Charlie Taft? The kids paid attention to that, so I think it worked.

What an incredible space! I feel like a loser for not having made the time to go; it's right there.
