Street Artist Ron English

Ron English can often be found sitting on a stoop on Main Street, sketching on cardboard or writing his thoughts on a sheaf of paper. For this post, I googled his name and came up with a great post about him. If you see him, say hi, and if you like what you see, buy a drawing.

I like his art quite a bit, but this is not the best example:

I was so fortunate to run into Ron a few days ago. I met Ron in 1996 at an Artists collaborative called "Vulcans Forge" The group created a set of 10 postcards for fund raising. Ron's is one of them. He just so happened to have one of his pieces with him (imagine that?) :)
I jumped on the chance to purchase it!

Bob and I were fortunate to meet Ron at First Lutheran Church, Over the Rhine in Cincinnati last year. He is so personable and, of course, we bought one of his chalk portraits on cardboard! Brenda
