Adriatico's New Location

We tried to go to Adriatico's yesterday. It looked like they were open, but they were just doing deliveries. They said the restaurant will hopefully open Thursday. They just built a new building next to Pomodori's. After decades of being a delivery or take-out only location, they are now offering seating with dozens of beers on tap. Can't wait.

Looks like a nice place. Do they brew their own beer?

Whoa, that's great news! Theirs is the best pizza I've had in Cincinnati.

It will be interesting having these two pizza places right next to each other. They are both very good, but they are also very different pizzas. Pomodori's was the first in Cincy to have small artisnal wood fired pizzas. Now Atavola on Vine also does that, and the Pomi's building is getting kinda worn out inside. They have a laid back feel.

Adriatico's is a totally different pizza, large servings, large toppings, fresh and fast. A high adrenaline type place. The beer selection looked like lots of mainstream American beer, but with that many to choose from, some have to be good.

I also noticed a bunch of growlers adorning the walls when I picked up an order last week, so it looks like they'll have draught beer to go, too.

What's awesome is that the new building is actually very nice. Others have commented, and I agree, that it's much better looking than the mediocre architecture of University Park Apartments on Calhoun or even phase one of The Banks. Let's hope that this style of development eventually replaces the Stop-N-Go and parking lots on the south side of McMillan.

^agree. It comes right up to the sidewalk and is all brick. They will definitely be successful.

Smart move - they are ahead of the game. With all the development coming they'll be sitting pretty.
Also, agree - nice building for a change.

Mike - just read about the partial collapse at the Horseshoe casino construction site. Where is that location in relation to OTR?
