Why do you say that? Is that a euphamism for people on the west side being too cheap, or just not cosmopolitan enough to eat at such a restaurant?

It just seemed an odd reference for a review of a restaurant in the East End.

I suppose one could have said "it's unlikely to survive even in an area loaded with yuppies and their 2.1 children" but I guess that doesn't roll off the tongue quite as smoothly.
