When we went to Paris the police and emergency vehicles had sirens just like the movies, I smiled every time I heard one.
You know that sound wooo-waaa wooo-waaa5chw4r7zhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00635910297238841220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6782792124434572025.post-78374973093161460362011-11-09T13:38:23.049-05:002011-11-09T13:38:23.049-05:00What a fascinating bunch of observations. Ouch, yes.VisuaLingualhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05940655509018040523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6782792124434572025.post-9263030039529778062011-11-09T08:41:18.684-05:002011-11-09T08:41:18.684-05:00I may be chatty this morning but here goes...
Lawy...I may be chatty this morning but here goes...
Lawyers - I was just at an anniversary of someone's passing. The first thing a relation said to the audience was, "I am a lawyer". It had nothing to do with what followed. A total "I think I am better than you" or "I am great" statement. How embarrassing, self humiliating.

I know a doctor who offered their medical knowledge continually to an asking lawyer. When the doctor asked this supposed friend for input on one legal matter he wouldn't "couldn't" give him any help. The good doctor continued helping when asked only because he is such a decent person. What an erroneously self important group lawyers are. My views of them have been formed by them.

Regarding the abundance of road "instructions" - have you noticed all the new flexible white plastic 3' poles on seemingly every curb corner or bump-out? Like without seeing them a driver will run off the road and over the already painted white curbs. A completely useless expenditure.

So true what was written. Not exactly things one wants to brag about.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
