I saw them this evening and they are making quite a mess there.CityKinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09068481950069401281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6782792124434572025.post-26911034061956108862007-11-17T11:06:00.000-05:002007-11-17T11:06:00.000-05:00I've lived at the top of Sycamore Street in Mt. It's very Hitchcock.

My neighbor moved them a bit by putting out a fake owl a couple years back. Maybe that's where they moved. I especially like watching them fly in to roost at night fall.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6782792124434572025.post-28222149797801780762007-11-17T01:05:00.000-05:002007-11-17T01:05:00.000-05:00I remember seeing large flocks of crows coming to ...I remember seeing large flocks of crows coming to the city about ten years ago. I was startled by it at the time because I had never seen them in the city before. They were here for a few years and then they disappeared. I had also heard it was the West Nile that was killing them all. I found both their sudden appearance and decline eerie.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6782792124434572025.post-82345290509486137512007-11-16T14:49:00.000-05:002007-11-16T14:49:00.000-05:00Maybe someone should construct an Urban Scarecrow?...Maybe someone should construct an Urban Scarecrow?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6782792124434572025.post-23513542233516804412007-11-16T14:45:00.000-05:002007-11-16T14:45:00.000-05:00I like to hear the crow on a still winter day out ...I like to hear the crow on a still winter day out in the boonies.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6782792124434572025.post-61390294267320480772007-11-16T14:30:00.000-05:002007-11-16T14:30:00.000-05:00Crows like Mourning Doves are moving to the city t...Crows like Mourning Doves are moving to the city to escape the guns in the rural areas. It can be quite a cacophony.

They appear to be communicating; I can hear a flock on one rooftop squawking and then another flock on another rooftop squawking back, and they go back and forth like that for a while.WestEnderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13170032373825704559noreply@blogger.com
