How did your son do? My son decided to build a car with Legos hot-glued to the top. It weighed out at exactly 5oz. It ran pretty much like a brick on wheels, but he enjoyed it.
I think we were about 5th out of a field of 12+.I think next year we will try for best paint job, since we can't win with speed.
