  1. Those balconies look so awkward to me, just sticking out of the side of the building with those really chunky banisters that add so much visual weight. It's also too bad that the cool ghost sign was almost completely removed -- couldn't it have been kept as it was?

  5. I think that building looks amazing. The balconies don't bother me at all. In fact, I would LOVE to have one of those units with a balcony. And I'm pretty sure the lean to's on top of the building are access points for the roof top balconies.

    It would be even better if they were the tops of light shafts to bring natural light to lower floors of the building... but I don't think so.

    Anyway, from the outside at least, this building is wonderful.
